The Vacu-Valve Proves to be a Cost-Effective Solution to Rotary Valves

A customer in North Carolina was recently looking for material handling equipment that could better handle their chalk application. The chalk was very hard on the rotary valves they had in place at the time. In addition, there was a height restriction, which only allowed for certain parts of the rotary valve to operate in the designated area. The company contacted Aerodyne with the problem at hand and Aerodyne suggested the Vacu-Valve® Platypus for their application. The Vacu-Valve is a Trickle Valve System that requires no controls, lubrications, or power supply. After receiving and installing the unit, the company was so pleased with the results they ordered an Armadillo model, as well. The purchasing manager for the company stated that even with over $6,000.00 worth of rotary valves on site, they prefer to use the much more effective Vacu-Valves. Furthermore, the significantly lower price tag of the Vacu-Valve compared to the rotary valve makes it the ideal solution for applications that rotary valves just can’t tackle.
